  A three-story, steel and brick office building was retrofitted with two new diagonal steel braces and a concrete shear wall. The braces were oriented in the transverse building direction and the shear wall was constructed along the property line all in the other direction. A new concrete framed roof garden/courtyard was designed for the use of tenants in the adjacent office tower.
