425 First Street Tower

  Bank of America
  San Francisco, California

This complex of three buildings was originally known as the “Union 76 Tower.” During the transition of this structure to the “Bank of America Tower,” the tower and surrounding buildings were renovated and seismically upgraded. Bolts in the tower column splices were replaced with high strength bolts to improve column tension capacities during high winds and seismic events.
$4.5M construction cost.
